Bumnong Introdution
Specialized in producing trays exclusive use for growing of seedling, Bumnong Co.Ltd. has made contribution to developing agriculture since the foundation of June 1995. To develop high quality seedling box for rearing of seeding, our firm has invested 1.4 billion won in R&D from at the first onset of business. We take part in SIEMSTA (Seoul International Exhibition of Machinery, Science and Technology for Agriculture) and TAMAS (The Agricultural Machinery & Seeds Show in Daejeon) which sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry every year and strive to make inroads into overseas market. As a part of it, we had participated in foreign exhibitions related to this area five times as a member of observation group which was organized by Investment and Trade Department of Northern Chollado.
Our firm has also made industry-academic cooperation with the department of Greenhouse horticulture at Kyoungsang university and Kangnung university to keep up study and produced its own wall projection type tray. Thanks to the success of wall projection type tray and high quality products, Bumnong currently occupies 60 % of the domestic market share in the industry. Our superior quality products are recognized in overseas market as well and we are expanding export to advanced nations in this area including Japan.
Recently we have invested 600million won and created high-technical Fibroot Plug Tray with a partnership with Dongbu Hannong Chemical Co.Ltd for the very first time in the world. Heated reaction and interest are coming from foreign buyers as well as domestic market and ensuing rush of orders paved the way for another take-off. Bumnong Co.Ltd will make every effort to become a leading agricultural material corporation for raising seedling in the world.
